Instant CheckMate is one of the more prolific names in the background check industry. They are easy to use, and offer a low cost $1 5-day trial, which makes trying them out simple.

What Impressed Me Most

I used my own name on all of these reviews. Instant CheckMate found my ex-wife, and also showed me my net worth (and was pretty accurate there too – rich I am not!) I like the fact that they keep things easy, but also go very deep on the types of data they uncover.

Features and Benefits

• They go fairly deep, and even get into political affiliation and similar.
• Most expected items are checked – criminal / sexual predator records, residences, aliases, association and relatives, various social media profiles, employment history, and others. I’m happy with the depth.
• They offer a monthly membership (prepaid up front) for unlimited reports.
• Simple interface is a breeze to use.

Pricing

Their pricing is very hard to find on their site – I wish they’d simply show us how much it is (note: it’s $22.86 for one month, $44.58 for three, and $59.16 for six). They also have a 5-day trial for $1.

Any Negatives

The site was easy to use, but slower than some others. It also froze on me once. But otherwise, no complaints.
