The Good

eHarmony matches you with like-minded people. The test is comprehensive and lengthy, ensuring that many of your likes and dislikes match on many different personality levels. The website also asks your preferences regarding smoking, drinking, religion, politics, kids, etc., ensuring good matches.

The Bad

No search function. Instead, they match you. They also do not show you any pictures at all until you pay. That part turned me off a little. I'm also one who prefers to search my own parameters instead of being matched, but that's more me – you may feel different.

Cost

The cost is on the higher end (but not too high), which I'm sure is what they want to keep their user base on the serious side. 3 months for $59.95 per month (and 6 @ $41.95 per month, 12 @ $21.95 per month.) As stated, you cannot see any pictures without paying.

eHarmony is a serious online dating site for people looking for a serious relationship and/or marriage. I wish they would show you pictures with a basic signup, but otherwise, it's a solid dating site. They boast a lot of marriages, so it must be working, and is worth checking out if you are looking for more than simple dating.
