Farmers is a long-established insurance provider (they are coming up on 100 years in business) who combines great rates with some of the best coverage options we’ve seen. They advertise themselves as being experienced in all situations where one would need insurance, and going by the coverages they offer, it’s clear they really do understand the insurance industry.

What Farmers Options Does Best

They give you excellent rates for some fantastic coverages. Usually, the bigger and more established the company is, the higher their rates are. But Farmers has some of the strongest rates in the industry, especially once you get to bundling insurance types. They also offer some excellent coverage options that eclipse most competitors. They then cap it all off with great customer service - we really like them.

Types of Coverages Offered

Farmers offers the expected coverage types: fire, theft, damage, liability, options like service lines, and much more. They offer three packages as a starting point (standard, enhanced, and premier), and then let you further customize them, adding or subtracting items, limits, and more. Nobody else we’ve seen offers coverage options this robust (and simple to customize.)

They are not in every area. But if they are in your area (and they are in most of the USA), they are a great choice.
