About the Company

Saatva was founded in 2010, with the goals of making exceptional, handcrafted mattresses with high quality, sustainable materials, and also changing what a mattress company could be. They were one of the early pioneers of “in-home” trial periods, and it shows, because theirs is one of the longest in the industry (a full 180 nights, which really speaks well of the company’s confidence in their products.)

Delivery, Setup, and Sleep Comfort

Every mattress is manufactured to order, so delivery is usually one to two weeks (they do not “store” mattresses, so every bed is seriously fresh). The company offers free white glove delivery and setup, and they will remove your old bedding as well (no “mattress in a box” here). Setup is seamless and professional – these folks know what they are doing. Comfort is exactly what you expect from a high-quality mattress – the perfect firmness, and “not too hot, not too cool” temperature. The lumbar support is great too - my back gets achy, and this mattress felt great.

Any Negatives

None that I can find. Sure, if you’re looking for a budget bed in a box, the price may seem high. But these are serious mattresses for serious sleepers.
